"Can you handle our big, crazy family?!"  YES! YES WE CAN! Here are some of our favorite examples, and a little information on how we run our large group sessions.

First, you just have to know this fun fact about Amy and me:  We *love* large group sessions!  There is an amazing energy that makes working with large groups so enjoyable.

But also… we've got our own crazies at home.  9 between the two of us.  Your bunch won't intimidate us, we promise! ;-) 

We will always have a consultation with you about wardrobe and location, you won't be on your own there!  We'll make time to chat with you prior to our session and create a "must have" portrait list.  Yes, we'll make time for couple's and individual shots, too!

We have families come to Destin and Santa Rosa Beach from all over! Planning these trips takes so much time and effort on everyone's part and we totally understand that.  This time together is absolutely precious.  We know that you'll want that "one great shot" of the whole group, so that's where we'll start!  After that, we'll work down the list that we created together ahead of time.  If you opt for a second shooter then we'll be capturing a few candid moments between the posed portraits.  It almost always turns into a great time with so many natural smiles and warm moments.  At the end, when the sky is soft and we've captured all of the important groupings we'll probably do another big group picture and more fun candids.  We really like to give our clients full, fun, beautiful galleries!

Happy repeat clients, here! Love this group! Taken at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, Fl.

This crew came all the way from Texas and they were so much fun!  We had a second shooter at this session and got some awesome shots.  It is *always* worth it to add on the second shooter!  This session took place at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, FL.

A big fun group of 27!  They told me they typically take their own portraits, but this year, they wanted to go all out with a professional beach photographer.  It was a great time!  We delivered a HUGE gallery!  This session had 2 locations and a second photographer add on, and was taken in Miramar Beach, Fl.

We love the colors this group chose! Taken at Grayton Beach State Park in Santa Rosa Beach off of the iconic Highway 30a.

Patience and planning are always a requirement when working with larger groups, especially on the beach!  Do your homework when choosing a beach portrait photographer. Call him or her.  Ask questions!  Get a feel of their attitude and professionalism.  The clients we serve are generally in the Destin, 30A, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, Inlet Beach, Seagrove Beach and Grayton Beach areas which means we serve a lot of out-of-towners.  Your time is precious, so don't just hire any beach photographer for your portrait session!  If Amy and I are both booked we always refer our clients to other trusted local professional photographers.  Contact us for availability or other information.  We're happy to help!
