Please note: For exceptionally large groups, additional coverage may be recommended. Sessions with more than 30 participants or more than four children under age four may require additional time and support to ensure the same level of care and quality our clients expect. An additional $400 fee may apply for extended coverage and an assistant photographer.

About the session
Before your session, we’ll take time to talk through your group and your goals so everyone feels confident about what to expect. If you have specific images in mind, we’ll make sure those are included — and if you’re not quite sure what you want, we’ll guide the session using a proven, efficient flow that captures the portraits most families love.
For large family groups, we typically begin with the full group, then move through grandparents with grandchildren, grandchildren alone, and each individual family unit, photographing both close-up and full-body portraits. From there, we photograph siblings, individual children, and finish with couple portraits when applicable.
Once these core portraits are complete, we’re happy to incorporate any specific requests or shot lists you’d like to include, time permitting. This approach ensures we capture the images most families want, while still allowing room for personal priorities.
Session structure and image variety are based on time, group size, the number of young children, and the amount of post-session editing required. If you’re unsure whether this session is the best fit for your group, we’re always happy to talk it through — just give us a call and we’ll help guide you.
A $200 retainer and signed contract are required to officially reserve your session date.
After your session, we carefully cull the images, selecting the strongest expressions from each pose and combining images when needed to ensure everyone looks their best. Final images are typically delivered within two weeks, or up to five weeks during peak summer months.
Minor retouching adjustments are included. If additional, more time-intensive edits are requested after delivery, a $10 per image editing fee may apply.
