WHAT'S NEXT?
- The online gallery will expire in 7 days so be sure to download and back up your images. Your thumb drive will be arriving shortly.
- You have received the link to the online gallery. This is where you will view the images, purchase any professional quality images/products, and download the high resolution images. You will see a logo on the images, this is only for viewing. It is to prevent right-click printing which would not print well and when the prints look bad, we look bad. The downloads will NOT have the logo.
- MPIX.COM You may receive a link to Mpix.com. This is a consumer company I recommend purchasing from. This is not through my professional company, but it is through their consumer company. I upload them and start a gallery for you to ensure they are uploaded correctly. You can of course purchase from any company you choose.
- DROPBOX You can request a Dropbox link. You do not have to open an account (I don't think so anyway...). This is a good option for immediate download. The images are not compressed during the transfer.
- Thumb Drive: Will be mailed out to the address on the questionnaire unless I'm told otherwise. Both options include the print rights.
- When uploading images to an online ordering site please note that ipads and phones WILL condense your images and they will not print with a high resolution.
- I can guarantee prints up to 8x10. Many images will print larger however without being able to prepare it I cannot guarantee it. For larger prints I do recommend ordering professional prints from Susi Photography. When printing large their computer has to enlarge the pixels and professional companies will do a better job, my monitor is calibrated to my company and I am able to prepare each individual image for larger printing.
- I swap smiles/eyes as needed, clean up and smooth skin/wrinkles, overly crazy flyaways, although keep in mind we are on the beach and the wind is a natural and uncontrollable and therefor looks natural in the image. I also remove anything what will not be there in two weeks such as bruises, cuts, rashes, pimples, and I keep birthmarks, tattoos etc. Beyond that any additional editing will be $10-$20 an image depending on the length of changes. Many of these services are time intensive, skillful and/or require a great deal of knowledge and attention, to include hair in the face and sunburn/tan lines. These fees are addressed in the contract in effort to be transparent with all my clients. There are never hidden fees, just ones required for me to run my business effectively and be compensated appropriately for my time and talent.
- Please keep in mind I am a photographer and not a digital artist, therefore while I do believe in simple beautifying extras and removing distractions, I prefer not to change reality of the special moment captured.
- Black and white images can be added upon individual image request to the gallery within the 7 active gallery days at no additional charge. Beyond the 7 day period there will be a charge of $5 per image.
- Not all images will print well large due to lighting conditions on the beach, distance and cropping and I only want the best for you. Please feel free to ask before ordering 11x14 or larger and I will check it out for you first.
- Feel free to share the link with friends and family. Each time an email address is entered it creates a separate account. As many as would like may create their own account, they do not have to use your email address to enter the gallery.
- If you have given permission your images will be used for the blog, website, Facebook. Please feel free to tag any pictures on Facebook page but do not crop out the logo per copyright laws . If there are any you would like me to add to Facebook or remove, let me know. Be sure to 'like' the page!
- We offer ready to hang wall collages at a discounted rate (and therefor are not included in any further percentage discounts)
