I met Mike and Madison at Grayton Beach State Park on one of those summer evenings where the sky shows off just because it can.  They were instantly comfortable together, laughing, goofing around, and slipping into those quiet moments that make engagement photos feel real instead of posed. We chased the light, we dodged the tourists, and we ended with the prettiest pastel sunset rolling in. Easy couple + beautiful place = photographer’s dream.

A Beautiful Blessing: Welcome to the World, Eden Grace! While newborn sessions aren’t something I typically do, when my sweet neighbor and friend welcomed Miss Eden Grace, I knew it had to be me!
We headed to Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, one of my absolute favorite spots for a photoshoot. Even though it was late December, the weather was perfect for an outdoor session—one of the many perks of living in Florida. As the sun began to set, it did get a little chilly, but both girls were all smiles the entire time! Eden’s mama, Holly, brought along a darling swaddle blanket with Eden’s name printed on it, and it turned out to be such a cute detail! Check it out below!  I LOVE being asked by kids to do something.
LOVE. IT. I love that they are interested in the session and they feel comfortable enough with me to ask. I honestly love working work extra hard editing childrens requests because not only is it something different to play around with but I know they see the value in the work. I love that it is a moment the kids can share in having fun with mom/dad. I love that I KNOW they will feel all warm and fuzzy when they look at it.  We love furry friends and are always pleased to add them into our sessions! While pets are not allowed on the beach without a permit we can get some images nearby or in other locations.
Here are some things you should remember to bring to ensure everything goes smoothly:  Oh my heart! We certainly LOVE senior sessions! Especially when we get to shoot at two locations. I just had to write and share about this session. Eden Garden State Park in Santa Rosa Beach and Grayton Beach State Park were the perfect locations for this creative senior's portraits. There are so many good ones to share, check them out!
 I think this was one of my favorite sessions to date, however, it almost feels unfair to make such a bold statement. Each year, Amy and I book such wonderful clients, many of who become friends. This group session was scheduled right after my emergency surgery last July and I almost didn't make it!
