Did you vacation along Florida’s 30a for your 1st birthday celebration? I didn’t, either. Bummer, right? But, this little cutie got to do it! (Awesome idea, mom and dad!)

Of course, a celebration with a beach portrait session was in order.  Beach photographer? Check! Cute outfit?  Check!  Kid size beach chair?  Check!  Balloon? Check!  Cute baby?  CHECK!

We met at Grayton Beach State Park, beside Watercolor.  This is one of our favorite locations.  Grandma and Grandpa were there, too.  It was an adorable family ordeal.  It was such a bright evening!  So many of our first portraits together had a lovely and warm glow.  As the sun began to set and the light became more soft, we set up the cake smash scene.  A cake smash…at the beach?!  It sounds extra messy, doesn’t it?  
It was extra cute, and extra beautiful.  This boy is loved so, so much.  And it really shows.
