MEET AMY
Hi, I'm Amy!
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always drawing, painting, and creating, and that passion eventually led me to earn a degree in fine art and build a career doing what I love.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to teach students of many ages while also running my own photography business, creating original watercolor paintings, and helping families preserve their memories through art. I believe every child is creative, and with encouragement and the right instruction, they can develop skills that will stay with them for life.
My classes are relaxed, encouraging, and focused on helping students truly understand art—not just copy a project. Whether we're learning to mix colors, sketch a landscape, or paint a favorite Florida beach scene, my goal is for every student to leave excited to create again.

QUALIFICATIONS
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Graphic Design from the University of South Alabama and have spent my career combining art, education, and creativity.
My teaching experience includes preschool, exceptional student education (ESE), middle school art, and reading instruction. In addition to teaching, I have owned and operated Amy & Caitie Photography along Florida's Emerald Coast for more than 16 years, where I continue to create fine art photography and original watercolor artwork.
As both a professional artist and certified educator, my goal is to help students develop strong artistic foundations while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
My teaching experience includes preschool, exceptional student education (ESE), middle school art, and reading instruction.
